Hand blown glass vases the Ribbon series
The Ribbon Series of blown glass vases evolved from my attraction to flowing organic designs and the optical depth that is so magically unique to glass. As can be seen in the close-up image below the wonderful golden ribbons of colored glass float above a background of silver, over a transparent pure cobalt. This design is often applied to an elegant, symmetrical classic form which is a bold contrast to the motion within.
Ribbon vases are custom one of a kind pieces. I make them in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. The pieces shown here are a sampling of vases I have made over the years. They range in size from 10" to 20" tall, prices begin at $375.
